Present Continuous Tense
Present Continuous Tense: – কোন কাজ বর্তমানে হইতেছে, ঘটতেছে, চলতেছে, ইত্যাদি বুঝালে তাহাকে
Present Continuous Tense বলা হয়।
চিনিবার উপাই: – বাংলা ক্রিয়ার শেষে তেছি, তেছ, তেছেন ইত্যাদি থাকবে।
গঠন প্রণালী:- Subject +Am,is,are+ Verb+ ing+Object+ Extension
NB: আমি, আমরা 1st Person.
তুমি, তোমরা 2nd Person.
বাকি সকল কিছু 3rd Person.
NB: 1st Person. = Am
2nd Person. = Is
3rd Person. = Are
যেমন :-
আমি ইংরেজি পড়তেছি।
I am reading English
লোকগুলি মাঠে কাজ করিতেছে।
People are working in the field.
আমি চাকুরি করার জন্যঢাকায় যাইতেছি।
I’m going to work hard for the job.
বাবা মসজিদে নামাজ পড়তে যাইতেছেন।
Baba is going to pray in the mosque.
প্রশ্নবোধক করিবার নিয়ম:-Am,is,are+ Subject + Verb+ ing+Object+ Extension
যেমন :-
সে কি এখন মদ্রাসায় যাইতেছে?
He is going to Madras now?
তোমরা কি ইংরেজি প্রায়ভেট পড়তেছ?
Are you reading English
তোমার লেখা-পড়া কেমন চলতেছে?
How is your writing?
তুমি এখন কি করিতেছ?
What are you doing now
না বোধক করিবার নিয়ম:- Subject +Am not, is not, are not+ Verb+ ing+Object+ Extension
যেমন:-
আমি আজ অফিসে যাচ্ছি না।
I’m not going to the office today.
আমি আজ স্কুলে যাচ্ছি না।
I’m not going to school today.
জেলেরা নদীতে মাছ ধরিতেছে না শীতের কারণে।
Fishermen do not catch fish in the river due to the cold.
আমি আর বাড়ি যাইতেছি না।
I’m not going home anymore.
সে আমাকে আর কল করিতেছে না।
She is not calling me anymore.
প্রশ্নবোধক ও না বোধক করিবার নিয়ম:- Am,is,are+ Subject+ Not+ Verb+ ing+Object+
যেমন:-
সে কি আজ স্কুলে আসতেছে না?
He is not coming to school today?
আমরা কি আজ বাসায় যাইতেছি না?
We are not going home today?
তারা কি কাজ করতেছে না?
What do they do?
এখন কি ক্লাশ চলতেছে না?
Now what is the class going on?
Present Continuous Tense
2) Present Continuous Tense: – Understanding what is currently happening,
happening, going, etc., he is called Present Continuous Tense.
Structure: – At the end of Bangle verse, I have been there, have been there,etc.
Structure: – Subject + Am, is, are + Verb + ing + Object + Extension
NB: I, we are 1st Person
You, 2nd Person
Everything else 3rd Person
NB: 1st Person = Am
2nd Person. = Is
3rd Person. = Are
For example:
I am reading English
People are working in the field.
I’m going to work hard for the job.
Baba is going to pray in the mosque.
The rules for questioning: – Am, is, are + Subject + Verb + ing + Object + Extension
For example:
He is going to Madras now?
Are you reading English
How is your writing?
What are you doing now
No rules to be interpreted: – Subject + Am not, is not, are not + Verb + ing + Object + Extension
For example:
I’m not going to the office today.
I’m not going to school today.

She is not calling me anymore.
The questionnaire does not have to be addressed: – Am, is, are + Subject + Not + Verb + ing + Object +
For example:
He is not coming to school today?
We are not going home today?
What do they do?
