Rule NO 21:- Goodbye যুক্ত  direct narration কে Indirect narration করার নিয়ম। 

 Structure: – Reporting verb এর subject + bid/bade + reporting verb এর object + good bye.

• Example:-
• Di: Ruby said to me, “Goodbye.”
• In: Ruby bade me goodbye.
• Di: I said to Ruby, “Goodbye.”
• In: I bade Ruby goodbye.

Rule NO 22:- Reporting Verb এর Subject না থাকলে তাহলে Indirect narration এ The speaker said to the person spoken to that দিয়ে শুরু করতে হয়।

• Example:- 
• Di: “I shall meet you tomorrow.”
• In: The speaker said to the person spoken to that he should meet you the next day.
• Di: “He will buy a mobile”
• In: The speaker said to the person spoken to that he would buy a mobile.
• Di: “I must inform you it.”
• In: The speaker said to the person spoken to that he had to inform him it.
• N.B: Reported speech এ it থাকলে it এর কোন পরিবর্তন হয় না।

Rule NO 23:- Reporting verb এ যদি people say থাকে তাহলে উহা indirect narration it is said এ পরিবর্তন হয়।

• Example: –
• Di: People say, “The earth moves around the sun.”
• In: it is said that the earth moves around the sun.
• Di: people say, “People say, “Allah is one.”
• In: it is said that Allah is one.

Rule NO 24:- Reported speech এ যদি Good morning, good noon, good afternoon, good evening, good morning and good night ইত্যাদি উল্লেখ থাকলে উহা দিগকে  Indirect narration এ পরিবর্তন করতে হলে নিম্নক্ত structure অনুযায়ী করতে হয়।

Reporting verb এর subject + wish/wished + Reporting verb Object+ Good morning, good noon, good afternoon, good evening, good morning and good night

• Example:-
• Di: The girl said to me, “Good morning.”
• In: The girl wished me good morning.
• Di: I said to my lover, “goodnight.”
• In: I wished my love a good night. 

N.B: এই ধরণের narration এ reported speech এর subject এর পূর্বে কোন that বসে না। 

• Di: The girl said to him, “Good afternoon.”
• In: The girl wished him good afternoon.
